The rules for using Soqoni.
By creating an account or browsing listings on Soqoni, you agree to these terms. They describe what Soqoni is, what you're responsible for, and the limits of what Soqoni does.
What Soqoni is
Soqoni is a listings and connection marketplace for Zanzibar's property market. It does not process payments, hold funds in escrow, or physically inspect properties. Any sale, rental, or other transaction happens directly between the parties involved, outside of Soqoni.
Your responsibilities
You're responsible for the accuracy of any listing, profile, or document you submit, and for having the legal right to list or transact on a property. Impersonation, fraudulent listings, and duplicate or misleading content are not allowed.
What verification does and doesn't mean
A Soqoni Verified badge means a listing or Agent passed Soqoni's remote, document-based checks. It reduces risk but is not a guarantee — Soqoni does not visit properties in person or confirm legal ownership beyond the documents submitted. You should still do your own due diligence before entering into any agreement.
Account suspension
Soqoni may suspend or terminate an account for fraudulent listings, falsified verification documents, abusive behavior toward other users, or repeated complaints that are substantiated through review.
Limits of liability
Disputes over a sale, rental, deposit, or any other transaction are between the users involved. Soqoni is not a party to these transactions and is not liable for losses arising from them.
Changes to these terms
Soqoni may update these terms as the platform evolves. Continuing to use Soqoni after a change means you accept the updated terms.
